BUSY couple of weeks!

This seems to be the start of my busy session time!!! So expect a LOT of new pics coming!

My first session was my good friend Jamie's twins again for their 3 month session! This time little Landyn was the one that didn't want to cooperate fully! But we still got some great shots for mom and dad! Landyn has a heart condition, which is financially putting a burden on the family so today there was a benefit held for him! Hopefully the items me and the rest of the donors donated will bring in money to pay off his growing medical bills! Lots of love to you Jamie and Jessie, and your lil cuties!

Next up is Brysen. This was also his 3 month session, with some mommy & me pictures thrown in! I have worked with Jennifer's family before for her sisters senior pictures, and have a great relationship with the family since they have been friends of mine for many years. Brysen did awesome for his first time in my studio! Such a little trooper! And mom and him looked AMAZING!! Thanks for choosing NWD Jen!

And last session for this blog, 2010 Senior Kody from Lakeview. It was great learning about your passions and your career goals Kody! Your were a great senior to work with and I loved all your ideas!!! Enjoy your senior year and good luck with college!!!

Back from Vegas and ready to work!

WOW, what an amazing vacation I had with family and friends!!! Vegas was AMAZING and we all had a blast! This blog is of course late like the rest of them since I work so much! We spent the Sept. 20th-24th at the NYNY Hotel in Vegas and enjoyed an amazing show, Fremont Street and SOOOO much more! It was amazing to go back and have an even better time then before! I posted a few random pics below just for kicks too ;) I even got on the BIG screen on Fremont Street! So amazing! Here's a few pics below!

Our whole group @ Fremont Street
Us girls
My family (minus dad)
On the GIANT screen @ Fremont street
Mom and I

Anyways, I appologize to my clients waiting for orders or anyone trying to get ahold of me! That's the bad thing about vacation I guess! I of course didn't have nation wide on my cell, so I used my friends when I could to call clients inbetween mountains on our tour buss. I also didn't have internet access until we got to the airport on the way home, and by that time I had missed SOOO many emails! So again, I appologize to everyone waiting to hear from me! But I'm back now, and up for business now that I've recovered from the lack of sleep! I have 7 sessions in the next 7 days so be on the lookout for blogs gallore!! I have one coming tonight from before vacation! It's so hard for me to keep up having two full time jobs but I LOVE what I do and I wouldn't change it for the world! (Well, maybe a WAY bigger studio!)

WOW What an amazing learning experience!!!

I am still in awe, and overloaded with information from last nights conference I attended in Omaha with the amazing David Ziser! It was worth every penny and minute, and in my opinion, SUPER cheap for the amount of knowledge you get from it! David is an AMAZINGLY talented photographer, service the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. Check out his website he is AMAZING http://www.ziser.com/
Anyways, what a learning experience that was! I must say that a LOT of things will be changing for me and my business! He really opened my eyes to lots of new software, equipment and most of all how to do lighting the right way! He is truly an inspiration and I am so glad that I took the time to attend the conference! If you or someone you know would like to learn more about attending it, the website is: http://www.digitalwakeupcall.com/
Seriously, he is AMAZING, funny, and oh so talented that I could only dream of producing those amazing images that he gets! All of this will be Incorporated into my upcoming weddings and sittings, so I hope to give my clients an amazing new edgy look that will WOW you all! So be on the lookout! I just had to share my amazing experience with all of you! Now onto a buying spree! :)

Rehannon & Doug; September 5th Clarkson, NE

WOW! What an amazing couple I finally got to meet this weekend! Rehannon & Doug reside in Colorado and we have been working out all the details through the internet and phone so it was great to finally get to meet them! Rehannon is a dance instructor for the Colorado Ice Dance Team, and both Doug & Rehannon are teachers up in Colorado, so they were a TON of fun to work with and had some super fun ideas, and were totally laid back! There were also the traditional catholic couple and chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so we did formals before and after the mass. I had a BLAST with their pictures and Clarkson had some neat old buildings to use as a backdrop! The one I chose just so happened to be the school that Rehannon used to attend when she was little so it was nice to pick a place that had some memories for her! The bridesmaids dresses were gorgeous, and Rehannon, your dress was amazing! The long veil was gorgeous on you!!! I loved it!!! I loved how their reception details worked in their love for teaching, with apples, pencils and books! VERY awesome! It was GREAT to get to work with you two and thanks so much for making my job so enjoyable! (And putting up with me being sick!)

Anyways, heres the details that made their day perfect!

What a week!!!

Well, another busy week, mainly with me being sick! I started the week off as normal, allergies and all! First off I had a repeat client, which is always great to watch the kido's grow up! Skyler had her 6 month session in the studio and mom had some great ideas that she had in mind! We got the main ones she wanted before Skyler got a little cranky, and we were still able to give mom some great pics! Anyways, onto Skyler's pictures!

My second and final session of the week was another repeat client that I haven't work with in a long time! I have worked with Jenny's sister a ton, and was the photographer for Jenny's wedding 2 or 3 years ago so it's been quite awhile since I have seen Jenny! She has 2 boys and just had a baby girl named Scout. She is such a cutie pie! I was so excited for all of Jenny's ideas, which she had a TON of! I love when my clients have ideas of what they want! Most of them were all new for me, and I got to do some mommy and me shots, which turned out soooo cute!!! I was so excited trying out my new ideas and lighting ideas as well so I'm really glad when Jenny had tears looking at them! Onto the images!!!

As for me, I am out of commission right now and I'm not sure for how long. I won't be able to answer calls, since I have laryngitis, so just drop me an email or text and I will get back to you. I went to the ER yesterday, in hopes that they could help the pain but I am out of luck. I am getting through today, doing very little work, since I only have gotten a few hours of sleep each night. I hope to hit up the doctor tomorrow and not go back to the ER tonight. Hopefully he can help me out with the pain. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and understanding with orders, weddings and sittings! Have a Happy Labor Day everyone!!!
