Las Vegas/Grand Canyon Vacation

Last weekend I finally got to enjoy an amazing birthday gift from my boyfriend, a vacation AWAY from both of my job! No laptop, calls, nothing! And ohh was it nice! Since I have been to Vegas two other times, I wanted to make this a memorable trip for Ken, and I hope I did. We decided to do a bus tour of the Grand Canyon West, and WOW that was the highlight of the trip by far! We had an amazing time and it was so nice to get away for awhile! Now I'm back in action, and wanted to share some images with you! Enjoy! And if you haven't seen the Grand Canyon, you MUST go! Its absolutely amazing!

Baby Kaden

Last week I had a last minute session with a 5 day old little guy! He was SOOOO cute I couldn't help but capture his every move! He started off fully asleep, and by the time we got to the second shot, he was wide awake, and ready to do his own thing! :) That's how boys are I guess! We got some amazing shots of the little guy, and I really hope you and your family enjoy the shots Tiffany! I love working with your family and I hope to see you again in the future! Thanks so much and enjoy the images of your precious bundle of joy!

Casey-CHS Senior 2011

Last week I met up with Casey, my first CHS senior this year. Casey is absolutely gorgeous and I loved her laid back style. We had a ton of fun getting some nice outdoor shots and trying out new ideas around town! Casey plans to attend college to be a vet, which is so neat! I wish you the best of luck in college and beyond Casey, and I hope you and your family enjoy the images! Thanks so much for choosing NWD!

A Handsome Little Angel!

I met up with Amber and her new bundle of joy this last week for some newborn shots of her little guy that was almost 3 weeks old. He was such a cutie, and barely cried the during the session! An amazingly during the naked baby shots, NO water works! :) He was so calm and just seemed to enjoy his modeling session! I hope you and your family enjoy the images Amber! It was a joy working with you two! Enjoy!

Brady-Scotus Senior 2011

Last week I met up with yet another Scotus Senior, Brady. I have work with his family before, and took his sisters senior pictures a few years back, so its always great to get those repeat clients! Brady had lots of fun ideas, and was VERY much into golf so of course we had to head out to the greens for those shots! We got lots of awesome shots, even some action ones, and we even managed to spot a deer on the greens! It was such a gorgeous day for a senior session, and I hope that you and your family enjoy your images! Have a great senior year and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Tammy & Justin E-Session

A few days ago, I met up with my amazing friends Justin and Tammy for the second set of their engagements. We had gorgeous weather, but weren't expecting the swarms of mosquitos and bugs from the recent flooding in the area. The first location was in a park that I haven't shot in yet but it turned out after just a few shots (which turned out to be AMAZING for lighting) that we had to leave asap because of the bugs! We were getting eaten alive, and Justin was starting to swell up pretty bad. So we headed to a bridge nearby, which worked out great! We got some amazing shots, but still had to cut the session short because of the bugs! Thanks Justin and Tammy for being such troopers and sticking it out! Enjoy your images and see you at your wedding in July! (I'm sure I'll see you before then Tammy!) Love you both!

Levi-Scotus Senior 2011

I seem to be on a roll with the Scotus High School in town, and I'm loving it! Levi was my first senior to book, months ago, so I knew he was excited! We had one heck of a storm in the morning that dumped about 3 inches of rain on us which almost cancelled the session, but we went ahead anyways and I am so glad we did! Perfect weather yet again, and another VERY creative senior! I loved all his ideas, props, and his passion for his many talents! I just love seniors that know what they want, and have a vision of how they want their pictures to look! It makes my job so much more enjoyable to have seniors speak their thoughts so I can give them EXACTLY what they are wanting, and I hope I did just that for you Levi! Enjoy your images, and of course your senior year! Best of luck to you! See you at your brothers wedding in December! Remember to SMILE! :)

Becky- Scotus Senior 2011

I am so excited to be diving into 2010 with some AMAZING seniors! Becky is on of the few girls I have booked so far this year, and since I am working with her sister (who is also a dear friend) on her wedding, I was so excited to get to do her senior pictures! Becky had TONS of ideas for her session, and it was a BLAST to get to work with her and her sister (and their dog of course). We had a TON of fun, and I got to use one of my amazing ideas I have had for some time on Becky's session! After many bug bites, and me being chased after by a large buzzy bee, we got through it all, with AMAZING weather and some even more amazing shots! Enjoy your senior year Becky, and I look forward to working with your family again in July!

Lindsay & Brandon; June 5th; De Witt, NE

This weekend I got the chance to do a little traveling for a wedding, which I LOVE! New towns and locations are so exciting for me! I just love the change of atmosphere! Lindsay and Brandon are such a gorgeous couple, and I was so excited to get to work with them again since I hadn't seen them since their trip to Columbus for their engagements last summer! It's been too long! The day was absolutely GORGEOUS and perfect for a wedding! Lindsay dress was to die for! I loved the lace detailing...you looked STUNNING hun! The girls were a hoot and I enjoyed getting all the fun casual shots! It was such a blast! Everything went smoothly and we got some amazing pictures outside of the church, including some with their 4-wheeler! How fun was that?!?! The church was amazing, and the ceremony went perfectly! Lindsay was my first bride EVER to break down into full flown tears and I almost lost it myself! It was so touching! The reception was gorgeous, and the food was great! The dance of course was defiantly a highlight! Your wedding party was such a hoot so thanks for the great shots guys! Thanks so much you two for choosing NWD and enjoy your married lives together! It was an absolutely pleasure working with you two! Enjoy your images and slide show!
