Melanie & Dan; June 27th, Columbus NE

Saturday I had the opportunity to photograph one of my high school classmates on her wedding day. It has been over 7 years since we had seen each other so it was great to see Melanie again! Her dress was so gorgeous and very unique! The blue on it was an amazing accent! And the flower girl's dress was so cute as well! Despite a few tears from the flower girl though, we got everyone organized and together for formals, which went flawless! Your wedding party was so much fun to work with Melanie and Dan! The reception was an absolute blast and I'm glad that you all included me in on the fun! Watching you all do the Sangria Wine dance was the best! My assistant and I had a blast capturing your special day and I hope you enjoy the memories I have frozen in time for you!! Enjoy your slideshow and images!

Tonia & Travis; June 20th, 2009 Platte Center/Columbus NE

Yesterday was such an amazing day! It could not have been more gorgeous for Tonia and Travis! They had an amazing outside ceremony in rural Platte Center at the Mother of the Groom's house. It was a GORGEOUS house and setting, with an amazing view of rolling hills and country side! I was so excited when my new assistant Ronda and I pulled up! Ronda did an amazing job for her first time and I can't wait to have her work more with me! She is by far my most amazing assistant yet! I had to thank her in this blog b/c I was so impressed with her! Anyways, the day was beautiful, and nice overcast skies and gorgeous views. Narrowing down these pictures was so hard, because they are such an amazing couple with such a great family! Tonia, you are so gorgeous!! Your dress was amazing and I can't wait to do bridals on Friday with you!!! Thanks so much to the Hull/Schuett families for helping New World Designs have such an amazing time doing what we love! I hope you enjoy the images that you didn't see at reception slide show! Be sure to leave come comments for Tonia and Travis!!! Thanks so much again! We had a blast and I hope you did too!
Congrats Tonia and Travis!

Rosno Children's Session

I had the pleasure of photographing an amazing set of children this last Friday!!! Duncan was an amazing little boy to photograph! I knew the second that little he walked in the door, this session was going to be amazing! Lindsey's ideas floored me and I was so excited about the antique car that she brought, and that she was excited about the ideas I had for the session! Duncan was such a trooper! And I think that both Duncan and his sister Addi had a blast, as I did! It was SOOO hard narrowing down my shots of them! Below are just a few of my favorites! Thanks so much Lindsey and Brandon for choosing New World Designs! I hope you enjoy them!

Wisconsin Wedding Vacation has come and gone!

Sad to say my "small" vacation is over. Sad that I had to leave one of my favorite girls but so happy to be home at the same time. It was amazing! As you may or may not know, Heather, from 'Heather Kessler Photography' flew me down for her wedding to be a back up photographer. It was amazing to be able to shadow her main photographer, Pierre's Portrait Art Co. They are simply amazing!!! I got some amazing shots myself! I had a blast shooting and getting to just be with Heather and her friends, who were so nice and made me feel like I was never left out. Despite the rain on the wedding day, everything went off without a hitch! It was gorgeous even with the rain!!! Heather was a trooper through it all and she got some amazing shots!
It sucked to leave such a gorgeous place too, and especially on my birthday, which once I flew out it turned into a not so great day. My flight had weather delays for about 2 hours, we of course flew right through the storm, which was fun! Then we couldn't land right away because of the storm and once we landed and I got my baggage I had to drive to Lincoln in the horrible storm! I was running on about 11 hours of sleep for 2 days so I was BEAT!!! I got lost in north Omaha, which anyone from the area knows that is NOT a good thing! Once I found my way out of that mess, I found the interstate and was on my way to my brothers place, FINALLY at 1 am. I fell asleep a few times and really shouldn't have driven, but thank GOD I made it there safe and sound! He was defiantly looking out for me that night! I slept for a good 12 hours and woke up sick, and finally got to go home to my puppy and mom. It really felt so good to be home!!!
Overall it was an amazing trip and I had a ton of fun!!! Its always nice to get back after a trip and sleep in your own bed! :)
Below are a few of the shots that I took the day of her wedding, and then the day after for some bridal shots :)

WELCOME!!!

So after as many jobs, volunteer work, and web things that I am a part of everyday, I have finally been convinced to blog about my business to satisfy my clients and friends! Amazingly, I'm pretty excited about it!
Well right now, I am all caught up with client work, other then a few orders, which is so exciting for me! I just love being caught up and having clients pictures to them asap! My photography is honestly my life, other then my friends and family of course! So my first "client" blog is going to be in the coming weeks! Next week is a VERY exciting week for me, as I am getting my new furniture, I leave for a mini vacation to Steven's Point, WI to be an assistant photographer for a very good photographer friend of mine, Heather, who is renewing her wedding vows! She is also a photographer so hopefully I live up to her standards! I am utterly excited to see her again as its been almost a year since we met for the first time in WI when I came to meet her and her amazing family! So next weekend is going to be a BLAST! I can't wait to see the amazing Heather in her dress, looking amazing as ever! And not only that, It's my big 25th Birthday! So now I'll be in my mid 20's, which is a little weird! But next week is going to be so exciting and I can't wait to start showing my clients sneak peaks on my blog!
So I've decided to post one of my most recent favorite images for you all to see, if you have not already! This is little Avari. Her mom and her took pictures for daddy for Fathers Day! I got the nicest testimonial from the mother and it totally made my day! I just love it when I can make my clients cry, for a good reason!
