Rehannon & Doug; September 5th Clarkson, NE

WOW! What an amazing couple I finally got to meet this weekend! Rehannon & Doug reside in Colorado and we have been working out all the details through the internet and phone so it was great to finally get to meet them! Rehannon is a dance instructor for the Colorado Ice Dance Team, and both Doug & Rehannon are teachers up in Colorado, so they were a TON of fun to work with and had some super fun ideas, and were totally laid back! There were also the traditional catholic couple and chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so we did formals before and after the mass. I had a BLAST with their pictures and Clarkson had some neat old buildings to use as a backdrop! The one I chose just so happened to be the school that Rehannon used to attend when she was little so it was nice to pick a place that had some memories for her! The bridesmaids dresses were gorgeous, and Rehannon, your dress was amazing! The long veil was gorgeous on you!!! I loved it!!! I loved how their reception details worked in their love for teaching, with apples, pencils and books! VERY awesome! It was GREAT to get to work with you two and thanks so much for making my job so enjoyable! (And putting up with me being sick!)

Anyways, heres the details that made their day perfect!

What a week!!!

Well, another busy week, mainly with me being sick! I started the week off as normal, allergies and all! First off I had a repeat client, which is always great to watch the kido's grow up! Skyler had her 6 month session in the studio and mom had some great ideas that she had in mind! We got the main ones she wanted before Skyler got a little cranky, and we were still able to give mom some great pics! Anyways, onto Skyler's pictures!

My second and final session of the week was another repeat client that I haven't work with in a long time! I have worked with Jenny's sister a ton, and was the photographer for Jenny's wedding 2 or 3 years ago so it's been quite awhile since I have seen Jenny! She has 2 boys and just had a baby girl named Scout. She is such a cutie pie! I was so excited for all of Jenny's ideas, which she had a TON of! I love when my clients have ideas of what they want! Most of them were all new for me, and I got to do some mommy and me shots, which turned out soooo cute!!! I was so excited trying out my new ideas and lighting ideas as well so I'm really glad when Jenny had tears looking at them! Onto the images!!!

As for me, I am out of commission right now and I'm not sure for how long. I won't be able to answer calls, since I have laryngitis, so just drop me an email or text and I will get back to you. I went to the ER yesterday, in hopes that they could help the pain but I am out of luck. I am getting through today, doing very little work, since I only have gotten a few hours of sleep each night. I hope to hit up the doctor tomorrow and not go back to the ER tonight. Hopefully he can help me out with the pain. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and understanding with orders, weddings and sittings! Have a Happy Labor Day everyone!!!

More amazing sessions with amazing clients!!!

I have been SOOO far behind on blogging so I apologize! Anyways, its been busy busy busy! More wedding and session posts to come in the coming weeks! Things never seems to stop coming for me, its like a to-do list that never ends! At least now I can cross blogging off that list! :) Anyways, onto the sessions!
First up, Rallie's 1 year session. I have worked with the family earlier this year for family pictures, so she may look familiar to my photography followers! Rallie's mom had great ideas and great props, which is always great to create my clients' visions! We started with Husker pictures, very fitting since the first game is this weekend! Rallie wasn't in the best of moods so we got what we could while she was not so happy. But we got some great shots and I'm so glad the family enjoyed them!

Next up, Audrey. This was her six month session and she was such a doll!!! She did great the whole time, a few tears as always but nothing too horrible! Thank god for toys and beads!!! We also did some family pictures outside the studio on our lake. She really enjoyed all the grass and trees!! Onto the images!

And to end last week, I had an amazing engagement shoot with Lana and Jared at Mahoney State Park near Lincoln. Lana & Jared picked an amazing location and I was overjoyed to see all the amazing spots they had picked out!! I couldn't stop snapping my shutter! We had a ton of fun and it was great to catch up with Lana. We were in high school together and we haven't talked in over 5 years! So that was an added plus! Anyways, onto the images!
